When in Tamworth ... if you are in need of a VOICE MAKEOVER and TUNE UP Connie Kis will be presenting a workshop that will introduce protective vocal techniques for singers and speakers. The workshop is an overview of the popular courses she runs in Western Australia at TAFE and UWA Extension and is endorsed by both institutions. It is designed to help the singer/speaker develop a basic knowledge of the mechanisms of the voice through an introduction to underlying theory and the practise of simple exercises that will help protect and free the natural voice. Connie Kis Andersen has been announced as a finalist for the Best West Australian Country Music Female Vocalist. Winner to be announced at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival in February 2006. Gone Wishin' Ms Andersen's current single on NfS 100 in Australia has charted #11 in CBAA November's top twenty most played out of 2400 tracks ... a sincere thank you to everyone who has made this happen... those of you requesting it and the radio presenters who are playing it...
